The West Central Trojans kept their undefeated season going with a 10-0 win over the Winner Warriors in the SoDak 16 on Wednesday, May 22nd. The win qualified the Trojans for the State A Tournament.
Caitlyn Hoff held Winner to just two hits over five innings. Hoff had just one walk with 14 strikeouts. The Trojan offense kept building on the lead nearly every inning. West Central scored two runs in the bottom of the first, two in the third, four runs in the fourth, and then two more in the bottom of the fifth to end the game on the 10-run rule.
Hoff also paced the offense with three hits, one a double, and two RBIs. Emillee Stofferahn had a home run and triple with three RBIs. Jocelyn Nilson had two hits, including a double, and an RBI. Izzi Parsons also had two hits, one a double. Hanna Raethz finished with a single and two RBIs. Kadence Lupkes and Addy Kunzweiler each had a single.
