The West Central Trojan softball team cruised to yet another victory on Monday, May 13th. The Trojans defeated the Vermllion Tanagers 11-0 in five innings.
West Central scored a run in the top of the first, but added six more runs in the top of the second for a 7-0 lead. The score remained 7-0 until the top of the fifth. The Trojans had a four-run inning to extend the lead to 11-0.
Caitlyn Hoff was strong in the pitching circle throwing all five innings while allowing just two hits and a walk with 11 strikeouts. Ayla Kramer and Addy Kunzweiler both had two hits, one a double, and three RBIs each. Hanna Raethz had two doubles and two RBIs. Izzi Parsons also had two hits, including a double. Jocelyn Nilson finished with a double and two RBIs. Sophie Rolfson also had a double. Kadence Lupkes had a single, and Emillee Stofferahn had an RBI.
