The West Central Varsity VFW baseball team took a 9-3 win over Canton at home on Tuesday, July 14th.
West Central scored four times right away in the bottom of the first inning. Those were all the runs that they would need. Canton scored a run in the top of the fourth, but West Central responded with four more in the bottom of the inning for an 8-1 advantage. Canton scored two more times in the top of the sixth to make the score 8-3, but West Central added one more run in the bottom of the sixth.
Taylon Sichmeller had a hit and an RBI. Kane Grace, Carson Johnson, and Aiden Lueth all had one hit each. Hayes Cain, Hayden Whiting, and Max Lewin all finished with an RBI each.
