The West Central VFW JV baseball team suffered a 17-2 road loss in Dell Rapids on Tuesday, July 14th.
West Central got a run right away in the top of the first inning.. Dell Rapids, hosever, put nine on the board in the bottom of the inning for a 9-1 lead. They would get three runs in the second and two more in the third for a 14-1 lead. West Central scored another run in the top of the fourth. Dell Rapids, however, would end the game on the 15-run rule with three more runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Liam Carpenter had two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Noah Erickson finished with an RBI.
