The West Central Trojans blanked the Flandreau Fliers 10-0 at home in make-up game on Tuesday, April 8th. Elisabeth Miller pitched a five-inning no-hitter while allowing just two walks and striking out 12 batters in the game.
The Trojans scored a single run in the bottom of the first for an early 1-0 lead. They added three more in the second. After a scoreless third inning, West Central plated three more runs in the bottom of the fourth for a 7-0 lead. They would score three more times in the bottom of the fifth to end the game on the 10-run rule.
Miller also had three hits in the game, two of them doubles, and three RBIs. Addy Kunzweiler had two hits, including a double, and three RBIs. Sophie Rolfson had two hits and two RBIs. Izzi Parsons added two singles with an RBI. Ayla Kramer ended with a double and an RBI. Teagan Lupkes and Emma Voeltz each had a single.
