The West Central Trojan softball team dominated the Beresford Tournament on Saturday, May 4th. They won all for of their games and only allowed just one run while scoring 54 total runs over four games.
The Trojans defeated Winner 15-0, Dakota Valley 9-0, Beresford 15-1, and Alcester-Hudson 15-0.

Elisabeth Miller pitched three innings and didn’t allow a hit while striking out nine batters. Jocelyn Nilson had two hits with four RBIs. Emillee Stofferahn had two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Caitlyn Hoff added a triple and an RBI. Miller, Miley Travis, and Maddy Kunzweiler all had a single and an RBI. Izzi Parsons had two hits, and Kadence Lupkes had a single.

Stofferahn pitched all five innings allowing just one hit while striking out eight batters in the win over the Panthers. Hoff had two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Parsons had two singles and an RBI. Stofferahn had a single and two RBIs. Hanna Raethz finished with a home run and an RBI. Nilson, Ayla Kramer, and Addy Kunzweiler all had a hit. Miller added an RBI.
West Central 15, Beresford 1
Kramer and Hoff both had a double and home run along with three RBIs each. Miller had two hits and an RBI. Sophie Rolfson finished with two singles. Nilson had a hit and three RBIs in the game. A. Kunzweiler had a triple and two RBIs. Stofferahn had a double and an RBI. Reathz also had a double. Miller pitched three innings and allowed an earned run on two hits with seven strikeouts. Hoff pitched two innings walking two and striking out five.

Hoff pitched a perfect three innings by not allowing a hit or walk while striking out five batters. Hoff also had a home run, double, and single with three RBIs. Raethz, Nilson, and Miller all had two hits and two RBIs each. A. Kunzweiler had two hits and an RBI. Parsons finished with two hits, and Lupkes had a single and three RBIs. Stofferahn had a double and two RBIs.
