The West Central Trojans kept their perfect season going with a 5-1 win over the Tea Area Titans on Friday, May 3rd.
Emillee Stofferahn had an RBI groundout in the bottom of the first for an early 1-0 lead. The Titans tied the game with a run in the top of the fourth. Elisabeth Miller put the Trojans back in front with an RBI double. West Central added three insurance runs in the bottom of the fifth. Caitlyn Hoff had a two-run home run and Stofferahn scored on an error for a 5-1 score.
Hoff had two hits, one a home run, and two RBIs. Miller had a double and an RBI. Stofferahn added a single and an RBI. Izzi Parsons and Ayla Kramer both had two hits each. Hanna Raethz had a double, and Jocelyn Nilson had a single. Hoff pitched seven innings and allowed an earned run on six hits and a walk with 12 strikeouts.
