The West Central Trojan softball team won their second straight game to start the season on Friday, April 12th. The Trojans held Lennox to just one hit in a 10-0 win in six innings.
Caitlyn Hoff started the scoring with an RBI groundout in the bottom of the first inning. Hoff added a two-run home run in the bottom of the third for a 3-0 lead. The Trojans pulled away in the bottom of the fifth inning. Addy Kunzweiler scored on a wild pitch, Hoff had an RBI single, Emillee Stofferahn had a two-run home run, and Eelsabeth Miller had an RBI single to push the lead to 8-0. The Trojans ended the game with two more runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Hoff had two hits, one a home run, and four RBIs. Stofferahn added two hits, including a home run, and two RBIs. Miller and Hanna Raethz both had a single and RBI. Izzi Parsons ended with three hits. Jocelyn Nilson, Ayla Kramer, and Kunzweiler all had a single each. Hoff also pitched six innings and allowed just one hit and struck out 14 batters.
