After having their first three scheduled games postponed, the West Central Trojan softball team took to the field at home to finally start the 2024 season on Thursday, April 11th. West Central hosted the Baltic Bulldogs and took the win 16-1 in four innings.
The offense belted a total of 13 hits in the game. Caitlyn Hoff led the charge with three doubles and four RBIs. Kadence Lupkes also had three hits, one of them a double. Emillee Stofferahn had two triples and two RBIs. Hanna Raethz finished with two doubles and two RBIs. Jocelyn Nilson had a single with two RBIs in the game. Ayla Kramer added a double and an RBI. Izzi Parsons also had a hit and an RBI. Addy Kunzweiler finished with one RBI.
Stofferahn was strong on the mound pitching all four innings allowing an earned run on just one hit with three walks and six strikeouts.
