West Central scored the only run of the game for a 1-0 win over Mt Vernon/Plankinton/Corsica-Stickney Padres on Wednesday, April 24th.
Karson Vessells had an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth inning for West Central. Landen Holewa pitched six innings and allowed six hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Caden Alfson got the save by pitching one inning and allowed a hit and a walk with two strikeouts. Vessells finished with a single and an RBI. Rayce Whiting, Alfson, and Hayden Whiting all had a single.
