West Central Softball Sets Sights on Return Trip to State Tournament

The West Central Trojans are eager to kick off a new season with their sights set on a return to the state tournament. While the team will need to fill some key spots after graduating four strong seniors, a solid core of five experienced returners is ready to step up and lead the way.

Elisabeth Miller will take charge in the pitching circle, with support from a number of younger pitchers.  Leadership from seniors Izzi Parson and Kadence Lupkes will be key, especially in the outfield, where their range and experience will provide stability.

The infield is shaping up to be a reliable unit, with Ayla Kramer, Sophie Rolfson, Briauna Hoff, and Addy Kunzweiler ready to back up our pitching staff. Behind the plate, Maddy Kunzweiler and Rolfson will provide solid defense.

Offensively, the Trojans have exciting potential, with a mix of power and contact hitters.  Kramer, Miller, Rolfson, and Hoff will be likely contributors, while Parson’s explosive speed will be a key factor in jump starting the lineup. With a balanced mix of experience and emerging talent, West Central is looking forward to a competitive season ahead.
