Trojan Softball Shuts out Panthers

The West Central Trojans (7-0) won their sixth game in shut out fashion on Monday, May 1st.  The Trojans defeated the Dakota Valley Panthers 19-0.

West Central scored five times in the top of the first inning.  They extended the lead to 11-0 after a six-run second inning.  The Trojans put eight more runs on the board in the top of the third.  West Central had 10 hits as a team, while the Panthers only had one hit.

Ayla Kramer had the hot bat with two home runs and seven RBIs.  Caitlyn Hoff had two doubles and an RBI.  Izzi Parsons finished with a double and a single.  Joc Nilson had a home run and four RBIs.  Sophie Rolfson had a single and two RBIs.  Emillee Stofferahn ended with a single and an RBI.  Kadence Lupkes had a triple, and Kaylee Olson had three RBIs.  Hoff pitched all three innings allowing just one hit while striking out seven batters.
