Tri-Valley scored eight times in the final three innings for an 8-2 win over Garretson on Sunday, May 5th.
Garretson grabbed an early lead, 1-0, in the bottom of the second inning. The score remained 1-0 until the top of the fifth. Tri-Valley scored four times to take the lead 4-1. They added four more runs in the top of the seventh to extend the lead to 8-1. Garretson would score one more time in the bottom of the seventh.
Cyrus Kirstein finished with three hits, one double, and three RBIs. Everett Althoff and Treyson Ricther both had two hits each. Nathan Madison had a single and an RBI. Carter Sorenson, Tyler Groenewold, and Tristen Bunde all had one hit each. Cody Lofswold had an RBI. Bunde pitched 3 2/3 innings allowing an earned run on two hits and two walks with six strikeouts. Landon Schenkel pitched 3 1/3 innings and allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk with seven strikeouts.
