Seven Run Inning Key for Tri-Valley Baseball Win

Baltic scored three times in the top of the first for a quick 3-0 lead.  Tri-Valley scored four times in the bottom of the first on RBI doubles by Cooper Durick, Lawson Schneiderman, and Tristen Bunde.  Each team would score a run in the second inning, and Tri-Valley continued to lead 5-4.  Schneiderman had an RBI ground out in the bottom of the third to extend the lead to 6-4.

Baltic got a run in the top of the fourth, but Dante Nehman scored on an error in the bottom of the inning to push the lead back to two, 7-5.  Another run came home again in the top of the fifth for Baltic to make the score 7-6.  With two outs in the bottom of the fifth, Tri-Valley scored seven times for a 14-6 score.  Both teams would also score in the bottom of the sixth.

Nehman had two hits in the game.  Treyson Richter had a triple and two RBIs.  Durick, Scheiderman, and Bunde all had a double and two RBIs each.  Jackson Williams and Cole Hendrixson both had a single and an RBI.  Paxton Felsheim also had a single.

Schneiderman pitched three innings and allowed two earned runs on five hits and three walks with two strikeouts.  Kade Oehlke tossed two innings and allowed four runs, three earned, on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts.  Brody Dybvig threw one inning and allowed an unearned run on a hit and walk with two strikeouts.  Mason Hemme also pitched one inning walking one and striking out one.
