The Tri-Valley Mustang softball team had a three-inning shutout win, 19-0, over the Garretson Blue Dragons on Thursday, May 7th. The Mustangs took advantage of nine Garretson errors and belted out 14 hits in the win.
Rowyn Gacke had three singles with six RBIs. Isabella Wetmore-Ocampo also had three hits with four RBIs. Ava Christensen had two hits, one a double. Kadence Davey also had two hits. Hailey Sorenson had a double with two RBIs. Syenna Halverson also had a double with an RBI. Emry Jones ended with a single and an RBI. Peyton Vogt finished with a hit.
Tri-Valley scored six times in the top of the first, six more in the top of the second, and seven in the top of the third for the 19 runs. The game ended after the third inning on the 15-run rule.
Jones pitched all three innings and allowed just one hit and one walk with five strikeouts.
