The Dell Rapids Jr Legion baseball team cruised to a 10-0 win against Brookings while Charlie Bollock threw a no-hitter at home on Thursday, June 25th. C. Bollock pitched all five innings without a hit or walk while striking out nine batters.
After a scoreless first inning, Dell Rapids scored half of their runs in the bottom of the second. They would add four more runs in the bottom of the third for a 9-0 score. Dell Rapids would end the game on the 10-run rule with one more run in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Cutler Erickson had a big night with two hits and four RBIs. AJ Brandenburg had two singles and an RBI. Lucas Peppel also had two hits. Caiden Borns added a hit with two RBIs. Rhett Thoreson and Bryson Schroeder both had a hit with an RBI. Owen Bollock added a double, and Haiden Kaffar had a single.
