The West Central Trojan football team cruised to a big 48-0 win over the Tri-Valley Mustangs on Homecoming night Friday, September 18th.
Braylon Robbins found the end zone with 9:53 to go in the opening quarter on a five-yard run. Beckett Everson connected with Elliot DeJong on a five-yard touchdown pass with 1:37 left in the quarter. John Goehring made both extra points for a 14-0 lead.
The Trojan offense put together a big second quarter. Everson found Dylan Bettcher for a 33-yard touchdown pass with 11:08 remaining in the half. Boche Knight had a 10-yard touchdown run with 7:30 to go. Robbins added his second score on a 10-yard run about a minute later. Knight scored his second touchdown of the quarter on an 11-yard rush with 3:08 left in the second quarter. Goehring made three extra points, and West Central took a 41-0 lead into halftime.
The final score of the game game with 4:42 to play in the third quarter. Cooper Ball had a 12-yard touchdown run, and Goehring made the extra point for a 48-0 score.
