The West Central Trojan girls soccer team started their 2026 season with a 4-0 win over the Lennox Orioles on Friday, August 14th in Hartford.
Nora Sandholm put the Trojans on the board with just :05 remaining in the first half for a 1-0 lead. Baylee Poss scored a goal, assisted by Ashlynn Borns, with 33:16 to go in the match to make the score 2-0. With 8:07 to play, Morgan Haneke scored a goal, assisted by Addison Durband, for a 3-0 lead. Sandholm scored the final goal off a rebound with :13 to go in the match.
