The West Central VFW JV baseball team dropped their last three games. They fell to Tri-Valley on Thursday, June 25, lost to Salem on Saturday, June 27th, and also fell to Baltic on Monday, June 29th.
Tri-Valley 15, West Central 1
Tri-Valley broke a 1-1 tie with 14 straight runs for a 15-1 win in five innings. Tri-Valley scored in the top of the first inning. Liam Carpenter tied the game in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single. Tri-Valley then scored five run in the top of the second, five in the third, three more in the fourth, and one more run in the top of the fifth.
Carpenter had two hits with an RBI. Archer Thomsen also had a single.
Salem 17, West Central 0
Salem used two big innings to earn a 17-0 win in three innings on Saturday. They scored six in the bottom of the first and then 11 runs in the bottom of the second. The game ended after West Central failed to score in the top of the third.
Brenden Warne had the only hit in the game for West Central.
Baltic 17, West Central 0
Baltic scored in every inning but one in their 17-0 win in five innings. They scored eight times right away in the top of the first. Baltic scored two more in the top of the second and three in the third for a 13-0 lead. After a scoreless fourth, they added four more runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Carpenter had a single in the game.
