The West Central VFW Varsity baseball team cruised to a 15-5 win over Tri-Valley 17U on Tuesday, June 23rd.
Tri-Valley grabbed an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. West Central took the lead with a four-run second inning for a 4-2 score. Each team scored two times in the fourth inning, and West Central led 6-4. West Central’s offense kept rolling as they scored two runs in the fifth, four in the sixth, and three more in the top of the seventh. Tri-Valley plated one more run in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Hayden Whiting had a single, double, and triple with an RBI. Cooper Ball had two hits, one a double, and four RBIs. Maddax Jackson ended with a single and double and two RBIs. Hayes Cain had two hits and two RBIs. Max Lewin also had two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Eli Koehn and Jett Whiting both had a double with an RBI. Taylon Sichmeller also had a double.
