Trojan Track Teams Compete at Lennox Invite

The West Central Trojan girls and boys track teams competed in the Lennox Invite on Thursday, April 16th.  The Trojans had several athletes place in the top five.

Sarah Johnson won the 3200m run in 11:55.83.  Aubrey Borns took third in the 800m run with a time of 2:27.36.  Addison Jaspers placed fourth in the 400m dash with a time of 1:04.96.  Abbi Thornton was fifth in the long jump with a leap of 15’10”.  The 4x100m relay team of Avery Pressler, Vera Jesse, Maellee Krempges, and Baylee Poss finished second in :52.04.  The 4x200m relay team of Pressler, Jesse, Morgan Haneke, and Poss took third in a time of 1:51.95.  The 4x400m relay team of Borns, MacKenzie Skonhovd, Jaspers, and Lucy Roozeboom finished fourth with a time of 4:18.24.  The sprint medley relay team of Hadley Borgen, Hailey Fortney, Kaylie Schultz, and Kinslee Hruby placed fifth in 5:07.16.

Dominic Butts won the 300m hurdles in :41.63 and placed third in the 110m hurdles in :15.42.  Peyton Tetzlaff finished second in the 800m run in 2:05.83, placed third in the 1600m run with a time of 4:49.71, and took third in the high jump at 5’10”.  Zach Nielsen was third in the 400m dash in a time of :55.02 and fourth in the high jump with a jump of 5’10”.  Ayden Henderson was third in the javelin with a throw of 144’0″.  Kolte Garry took fourth in the shot put at 45″3.5″.  Keenan Hacket placed fifth in the 200m dash in a time of :24.03.  Max Poss was fifth in the 400m dash in :55.73.  Elijah Mundahl finished fifth in the shot put with a throw of 44’9.5″.  The sprint medley relay team of Kevin Cholopray, Carson Eich, Braylon Viergutz, and Judah Wuebben finished fifth in 4:24.40.
