The Humboldt/Hartford Wood Ducks suffered a 12-2 road loss at Dell Rapids PBR on Thursday, July 18th.
PBR took a 5-0 lead with a run in the second and four in the bottom of the third. The Wood Ducks cut the lead to 5-2 with two runs in the top of the sixth. PBR scored one run in the sixth making the score 6-2, and then scored three runs in both the seventh and eighth innings to put the game away.
Brayden Odegaard had three hits. Jacob Ellens had two singles and an RBI. Gage Nelson added two hits, including a double. Brodie Herr and Camden McDonald both had one hit each. Andrew Zimmer pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed six runs, five earned, on four hits and six walks with four strikeouts.
