The West Central Trojan track teams has a great day at the Hanson Invite on Monday, May 13th. The girls team won the team title with a score of 126. The boys team finished second by just one point. The Trojans had 115 points, and Hanson had 116 points.
Sadie Berg won the 200m dash with a time of :26.66 and finished third in the 400m dash. Rayna Goehring placed second in the 200m dash. Avery Pressler finished third in the 200m dash. Abbi Thornton was third in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump. Molly Anderson took fourth in the 100m dash and fifth in the long jump. Clara Nelson was fourth in the 400m dash. Drew Caffrey finished fourth in the 3200m run. Hadley Larson was fifth in the 1600m run. Sarah Johnson took fifth in the 3200m run. Addison Meadors was fifth in the high jump. Three relay teams took first place. The 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x800m relay teams all won. The sprint medley and 4x400m relay teams both placed fifth.
Liam Schmeichel won the 110m hurdles with a time of :15.18 and placed second in the high jump. Jude Jarding won the 400m dash with a time of :49.66. Benjamin Strunk won the 800m run in 1:59.87. Crew Heier placed first in the javelin with a throw of 151’5″ and finished third in the shot put. Layton Johnson was second in the 100m dash. Rylee Hartung finished second in the 400m dash. Peyton Tetzlaff was third in the 3200m run. Patrick Hammond took fourth in the 200m dash. Cain Grocott was fourth in the javelin. The 4x200m and 4x800m relay teams both placed third.
