The West Central Trojan softball team carried the momentum of their Dak-12 Tournament win into their game on Tuesday, April 23rd. The Trojans cruised past Canton to a 17-0 win.
The offense put two runs on the board before an out was recorded, and the top of the first inning ended with West Central leading 10-0. The Trojans would add two more runs in the top of the second and five in the top of the third. The game ended after three innings on the 15-run rule.
Emillee Stofferahn had three hits, a single, double, and home run, with an RBI. Kaddence Lupkes added a double and three RBIs. Ayla Kramerr and Caitlyn Hoff both had a single and two RBIs. Sophie Rolfon ended with a single. Elisabeth Miller pitched three innings and allowed two hits with no walks and seven strikeouts.
