The West Central Trojans won their final regular season home game on Thursday, October 19th. West Central hosted the Milbank Bulldogs and ended with a 64-13 victory.
The Bulldogs scored on the very first offensive play of the game, a 65-yard touchdown run with 11:46 to go in the quarter. The Trojans responded by scoring on their first offensive play. Karsen Wilde had an 83-yard touchdown run, and in the first thirty seconds of the game, the score was tied 7-7. Chet Carda had a 19-yard touchdown run with 7:13 to play in the first quarter. Later in the quarter, Caden Alfson had a 32-yard touchdown pass to Trevin Price with 3:40 left in the first. Carda added a 73-yard rushing score with 2:41 remaining. The Trojans got one more score in the first quarter. Layton Johnson had a 53-yard run. Tason Pease made all five extra points, and West Central led 35-7 at the end of the first quarter.
Evan Jaton had a 17-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter. Pease added the extra point, and with 10:31 to play in the first half, the Trojans extended their lead to 42-7. Milbank had a score late in the second quarter. The Bulldogs scored on a six-yard run with 3:02 remaining in the first half to make the score 48-13. Alfson added a 47-yard touchdown pass to #4 with 1:21 left in the second quarter. A made two-point conversion gave the Trojans a 50-13 lead at halftime.
The Trojans scored in the first minute of the third quarter on a 66-yard touchdown run. Another made two-point conversion put West Central ahead 58-13 with 11:00 to play in the third. The game came to an end with 2:42 to go in the third quarter after a 25-yard touchdown run.
