The West Central 16U team pitched a shut out against Volga at home on Monday, July 10th and took the win 8-0. Anthony Lanham pitched five innings and allowed a hit and three walks with four strikeouts. Jericho Klein pitched two innings and allowed two hits with three strikeouts.
West Central scored two runs right away in the bottom of the first and kept building their lead from there. They added four more runs in the bottom of the third and two more runs in the fourth.
Jesse Jost and CJ DenBoer each had a single and two RBIs. Lanham, Cain Grocott, and Klein all had one hit each.
