West Central Blue 14U Wins Two at Home on Consecutive Days

West Central Blue 14U won two games on back-to-back days on Monday, June 26th and Tuesday, June 27th.  The two wins have given West Central Blue a five game winning streak.

West Central Blue 10, Baltic 0

After a scoreless first inning, West Central scored in the final four innings.  They scored a run in the second, five in the third, two in the fourth, and two more in the fifth to end the game on the 10-run rule.

Dean Arends had two hits and two RBIs.  Hayes Cain also had two hits with an RBI.  JT Steckley had a double with two RBIs.  Dylan Bettcher added a single and an RBI.  Taten Vanoverbeke had a single.  Bettcher pitched five innings and allowed two hits and two walks with 12 strikeouts.

West Central Blue 11, Tea Bolts 1

West Central scored 10 runs in the first two innings, six in the first and four in the second.  Tea scored a run in the top of the third inning.  West Central added one more in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Tanner Wagner had two hits, one a triple, and four RBIs.  Bettcher had a double and an RBI.  Cain, Maddax Jackson, and Arends all had a hit and an RBI.  Vanoverbeke and Steckley both ended with a hit.  Vanoverbeke pitched three innings and allowed an earned run on two hits and three walks with five strikeouts.  Cain pitched an inning and had two walks and one strikeout.
