Two Big Innings Give West Central Gold 14U Win in Tea

The West Central Gold 14U team used two big innings to fuel a 15-1 win over the Tea Bolts in Tea on Wednesday, June 21st.

West Central scored two early runs in the top of the first inning for a 2-0 lead.  Tea cut the deficit in half with a run in the bottom of the first.  Neither team would score in the second inning keeping the score 2-1 going into the third inning.  West Central then had a seven-run third inning and followed that with a six-run fourth inning.

Chase Stromer had two hits with an RBI.  Langdon Klinkhammer had a double with two RBIs.  Carson Eich had a single and an RBI.  Karson Olson finished with a hit, and Noah Erickson had an RBI.  Eich pitched four innings allowing just one earned run on three hits and three walks with six strikeouts.
