Tri-Valley Wins First Softball Game

The Tri-Valley Mustangs won their first softball game in school history on Friday, May 19th.  The Mustangs won their final game of the season 20-5 at Canton.

Tri-Valley put together two big innings to start they game.  They scored seven times in the top of the first inning and then 12 more runs in the top of the second for a 19-0 lead.  Canton added a run in the top of the second.  The Mustangs scored one more time in the top of the third.  The C-Hawks plated four runs in the bottom of the third.

Sawyer Foster and Isabella Wetmore-Ocampo each had a double with three RBIs.  Corie Wicks finished with a single and two RBIs.  Reagan Pearson and Erika Beck both had a single and an RBI.  Emery Pearson added a double.  Lillian Schlueter finished with three RBIs, and Julia Mauszycki had an RBI. Schlueter pitched three innings allowing five runs, two earned, on four hits and three walks with six strikeouts.
