Tri-Valley White 16U couldn’t keep pace with Dell Rapids on Monday, July 17th. Dell Rapids took the win by a 13-1 score.
Dell Rapids put four runs on the board right away in the top of the first inning. Tri-Valley got one of those runs back in the bottom of the inning, but it was all Dell Rapids after that. They scored a run in the second, four in the fourth, one in the fifth, and then three in the seventh.
Tri-Valley was held to just three hits in the game. Nathan Madison had two of them, including a double, and had an RBI. Cody Lofswold had the other hit. Austin Puetz pitched four innings and allowed nine runs, just two earned, on nine hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Kobe Krome pitched three innings and allowed four runs, three earned, on six hits and four walks with four strikeouts.
