Tri-Valley 17U Rolls Past Flandreau

Tri-Valley 17U scored in every inning and rolled to a 15-4 win in five innings over Flandreau on Monday, July 6th.

Flandreau grabbed the lead right away in the top of the first with two runs.  Their lead did not last long as Tri-Valley pushed three runs across in the bottom of the inning.  Tri-Valley then had back-to-back big innings.  They scored six times in the bottom of the second and five more in the third for a 14-2 lead.  Flandreau added two more runs in the top of the fourth.  Tri-Valley scored their final run in the bottom of the fourth.

Evan Focken had three hits and three RBIs.  Cooper Durick had two hits, one a triple, with three RBIs.  Parker Atwood and Reed Smith both had two hits and two RBIs each.  Abbott Moeller also had two hits.  Patrick Tromblee ended with a single and an RBI.  Dante Nehman had a single, and Lawson Schneiderman had an RBI.

Focken pitched four innings and allowed four earned runs on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts.  Will Winter tossed one inning and had two strikeouts.
