Tri-Valley 17U Rolls to Big Win over Lennox

The Tri-Valley 17U baseball team rolled to a big 18-6 win over Lennox on the road on Wednesday, July 16th.  Tri-Valley scored in every inning of the six-inning game.

Each team scored three runs in the first inning and two more runs in the second for a 5-5 tie.  Tri-Valley kept going with two runs in the top of the third and two more in the top of the fourth for a 9-5 lead.  Lennox got one run in the bottom of the fourth.  Tri-Valley would then add two in the fifth and then had a big seven-run top of the sixth.  The game ended on the 10-run rule after the bottom of the sixth.

Abbott Moeller had three hits, one a double, and an RBI.   Cooper Durick ended with a triple and double with two RBIs.  Gerrit Koopman and Parker Atwood each had two hits with three RBIs.  Dante Nehman had a double and single with two RBIs.  Evan Focken had a single and two RBIs.  Lawson Schneiderman and Reed Smith both had a single and an RBI.  Patrick Tromblee also had a single.

Moeller pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed three earned runs on six hits and a walk with eight strikeouts.  Will Winter pitched 2/3 of an inning and allowed three earned runs on two hits and three walks.
