The Tri-Valley White 16U team hosted Madison Maroon on Monday, July 10th. Madison took the win 17-1.
After a scoreless first inning, Madison scored 11 straight runs. They got three in the second, seven in the third, and one more in the top of the fourth. Tri-Valley got their lone run in the bottom of the fourth. Malakhi Wipf reached on an error that scored Cyrus K. Madison would score six more runs in the top of the fifth.
Denton Bicknase and Caden Lewis had the two hits for Tri-Valley in the game. Cyrus K. pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed four runs, three earned, on three hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Bicknase pitched 1 2/3 innings and allowed seven runs, five earned, on four hits and three hits with three strikeouts. Blaine Wieczorek pitched an inning and allowed six unearned runs on four hits and a walk.
