Dell Rapids put four runs on the board in the first three innings of the game. They then had a 10-run top of the sixth to get a 14-0 win against Colton on Friday, June 16th. Colton was held to just one hit in the game.
Barrett Althoff had the only hit. Everett Althoff reached base on a walk, and Braden Oyen was hit by a pitch as the only other base runners in the game. Aiden Heitkamp pitched four innings allowing four earned runs on seven hits with two strikeouts. Noah Haynes pitched 1 2/3 innings and allowed nine runs, three earned, on two hits and two walks with one strikeout. Nathan Madison pitched 2/3 of an inning giving up an unearned run on three walks with one strikeout.
