The Colton Legion Shockers baseball team traveled to Humboldt on Tuesday, June 13th. West Central took the 7-1 win taking advantage of seven Colton errors.
West Central scored two times in the bottom of the first, one in the bottom of the third, and three in the bottom of the fifth to take a 6-0 lead. Tyler Groenewold had an RBI double in the top of the sixth inning for Tri-Valley. West Central added another run in the bottom of the sixth.
Groenewold had a double and an RBI. Cole Focken had two hits, one a double. Noah Haynes, Cody Lofswold, and Braden Oyen each had a single in the game. Kaden Egger pitched five innings allowing six runs, one earned, on five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. Carter Sorenson pitched an inning and allowed an unearned run on a walk with one strikeout.
