The Dell Rapids Phils hosted Garretson on Monday, July 13th and rolled to an 11-1 win in five innings.
The scoring started early for Dell Rapids. They scored five times in the bottom of the first and add another run in the bottom of the second for an early 6-0 lead. Garretson put a run on the board in the top of the fourth, but Dell Rapids got that run right back in the bottom of the inning. The Phils ended the game on the 10-run rule in the fifth inning after score four more times.
Connor Hanson had two hits, one a triple, and two RBIs. Caiden Borns had two singles with two RBIs. AJ Brandenburg and Ryan Brandenburg each had two hits with an RBI. Jake Heinitz ended with a single and two RBIs. Tommy LaVoy had an RBI.
Eli Gullickson pitched four innings and allowed an unearned run on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts. R. Brandenburg pitched one inning without allowing a hit or run.
