The Dell Rapids Jr Legion team had 12 hits and took advantage of seven errors as they cruised to a 17-0 win over Baltic in Baltic on Monday, June 15th.
Dell Rapids scored four runs right away in the top of the first inning. They put three more runs on the board in the second. Another run scored in the top of the third with two more in the fourth. Dell Rapids plated seven runs in the top of the fifth. The game ended on the 15-run rule after the bottom of the fifth inning.
Lucas Peppel pitched all five innings and allowed just four hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Bryson Schroeder had two hits, one a double, and two RBIs. Hayden King had two hits and two RBIs. Caiden Borns and Easton Davis both had two hits and an RBI each. Will Price added a double with two RBIs. Charlie Bollock and Chace Stroschein each had a hit and an RBI. Peppel also had a hit.
