The Dell Rapids Phils picked up a 2-1 win over Garretson in Garretson on Monday, June 15th.
Kenny Swanson hit an RBI single in the top of the first to give Dell Rapids the 1-0 lead. Garretson tied the game with a run in the bottom of the second. AJ Brandenburg scored on a wild pitch in the top of the third to put the Phils back in front 2-1. From that point forward, pitching ruled the game.
Gauge Bunkers pitched all seven innings and allowed one earned run on two hits and three walks with six strikeouts. Swanson finished with a single and an RBI. Bunkers and Ryan Brandenburg each had a hit as well.
