Quarrier Offense Hot Despite Chilly Temp

Despite the cool temps and windy conditions, the Dell Rapids Quarrier softball offense was red hot in Crooks against Tri-Valley on Thursday, April 18th.  The Quarriers won the game 15-0 in three innings, had 13 hits as a team, and every player in the lineup either had a hit or an RBI.

Eight of the 13 hits for Dell Rapids were extra base hits.  Rylee Halverson, Kylee Fiddelke, Lexi Ingalls, and Jaycee Tebay all had a home run in the game.  Claire Wynja had two doubles, and Makaylah O’Meara and Ingalls both had a one double.  Katie Kvigne had two singles, and Kylie Lebhan had one.  Tebay finished with four RBIs.  Ingalls, Fiddelke, and Halverson all had two RBIs each.  Wynja, LeBahn, Kvigne, and Lexi Scherff all had one RBI each.

Kvigne pitched all three innings and allowed four hits with no walks and struck out four batters.
