Both the Dell Rapids girls and boys high school bowling teams earned a win over Tea at Empire Bowl in Sioux Falls on Monday, January 29th.
The girls team took the win 37-13 to improve to a 7-4 overall record. Avery Cole had a high game of 181 and had a 497 series. Skylar McKillip bowled a new career high series of 408 in the match.
The boys match was very exciting. The two teams finished in a 25-25 tie, which lead to a tiebreaker roll-off. Blake Lewis won the head-to-head roll off to give Dell Rapids the victory and improve their record to 4-7. Lewis had a 236 high game with a 651 series. Oscar Anderson had a 191 high game and a 508 series.
