Dell Rapids Bowling Finishes Regular Season

The Dell Rapids bowling team finished their regular season with back-to-back matches on Thursday, February 9th and Friday, February 10th.  The teams faced Yankton on Thursday, the boys at home and the girls in Yankton, and then the team finished the season against Sioux Falls Washington in Sioux Falls on Friday.  Both teams lost their matches on each day.

Chrissa Sondergaard had a high game of 211 and a 550 series (177, 162, 211) for the girls in Yankton on Thursday.  Avery Cole finished with a 375 series (119, 140, 116).  Aisley Grib had a 374 (120, 111, 143).  Skylar McKillip finished with a 346 (130, 117, 99), and Adaya Meiners had a 313 series (104, 103, 106).  For the boys team against Yankton, Orran O’Meara had a high game of 254 and a 638 series (211, 254, 173).  Blake Lewis had a 510 series (163, 184, 163).  Oscar Anderson finished with a 442 (124, 172, 146).  Noah Larson had a 427 (186, 131, 110. . Dylan Aker added a 418 (143, 157, 118), and Sawyer Hebert finished with a 395 series (112, 161, 122).

Against Sioux Falls Washington at Eastway Bowl on Friday, Grib finished with a 460 (150, 154, 156).  Sondergaard had a 451 series (146, 132, 173).  Cole added a 380 series (127, 125, 128).  McKillip had a 329 (107, 110, 112), and Meiners had a 314 series (97, 113, 104).  Anderson had the high series for the boys with a 593 (228, 155, 210).  Hebert finished with a 522 (180, 201, 141).  Lewis had a 490 series (149, 190, 151).  Aker had a 475 (134, 193, 148).  Larson added a 463 series (166, 154, 143), and O’Meara had a 433 series (165, 115, 153).

The girls team finished with a 7-6 record.  The boys team had a 4-9 record.  The state tournament will be on Thursday, February 22nd for the girls and Friday, February 23rd for the boys at Eastway Bowl in Sioux Falls.
