Both the girls and boys Dell Rapids Club Bowling teams are 2-2 on the season after the Thanksgiving break.
Dell Rapids hosted Sioux Falls Christian on November 7th. The girls took a 31-19 win over the Chargers. Chrissa Sondergaard had a 180 high game and a 503 series. Aisley Grib had a 160 high game and finished with a 408 series. Skylar McKillip had a high game of 148 and a 400 series. The boys team took a 28-22 victory. Noah Larson had a high game of 265 with a 605 series. Blake Lewis’ high game was 232 and had a 628 series. Isaac Whitcomb had a 605 series with a high game of 214.
On November 14th Dell Rapids traveled to Sport Bowl in Sioux Falls to play the West Central Trojans. The girls team fell to the Trojans in a close match, 27-23. Sondergaard had a 534 series and a high game of 202. Avery Cole had a high game of 170 with a 389 series. McKillip rolled a 154 high game and a 405 series. The boys team won their second match in a row with a 29.5 – 20.5 victory over the Trojans. Lewis had a 268 high game with a 614 series. Sawyer Hebert had a 225 high game with a 555 series. Orran O’Meara had a 596 series with a high game of 223.
Both teams lost to the Brookings Bobcats in the final match before the Thanksgiving holiday. The girls had their match on November 21st and suffered an 11-39 loss. The boys competed on November 22nd, and the Bobcats won 29-21. Sondergaard had a 216 high game and a 528 series. Grib had a high game of 168 with a 443 series. Adeline Hansolen had a 503 series with a high game of 165. Dylan Aker had a high game of 226 with a 650 series. Lewis finished with a series of 618 and a high game of 218. O’Meara had a 536 series and a high game of 200.
