The Dell Rapids High School bowling team had two matches during the week of November 13th – 17th. The team had a match against Sioux Falls Roosevelt on Wednesday, November 15th and then a match against Sioux Falls Lincoln on Thursday, November 16th and Friday, November 17th.
In a make-up match, Roosevelt girls team defeated Dell Rapids 46-4, and the Roosevelt boys also took the win 39-11. Chrissa Sondergaard finished with a 512 series (172, 180, 160). Avery Cole had a 405 (152, 114, 139). Aisley Grib had a 336 series (103, 129, 104). Skylar McKillip finished with a 305 (102, 101, 102), and Adaya Meiners had a 303 (72, 110, 121). For the boys team, Blake Lewis had a 668 series (220, 223, 225). Oscar Anderson had a 506 series (159, 155, 192). Orran O’Meara had a 504 (160, 155, 189). Sawyer Hebert finished with 478 (146, 144, 188), and Knohah Brobjorg had a 423 (169, 140, 114).
On Friday Dell Rapids faced Sioux Falls Lincoln in their regularly scheduled match. The Dell Rapids girls team got the win 42-8, but the boys team fell 49-1. Sondergaard led the girls team with a 452 series (172, 127, 153). Cole had a 368 (143, 118, 107). Grib finished with a 367 series (111, 130, 126). McKillip had a series of 283 (109, 84, 90), and Meiners had a 261 (95, 80, 86). Lewis had a 543 series (171, 151, 210) for the boys. Anderson finished with a 514 (182, 161, 171). O’Meara had a 457 series (129, 128, 200). Hebert added a 441 (161, 137, 143). Noah Larson had a 396 series (130, 119, 147), and Brobjorg had a 365 (147, 130, 88).
The girls team is currently 2-1 on the season, and the boys team is 0-3.
