Garretson used an 11-run third inning to lead them to a 17-2 win over the West Central VFW JV team on Monday, July 6th.
The home team, Garretson, scored two times in the bottom of the first and two more in the bottom of the second for an early 4-0 lead. West Central cut the lead in half in the top of the third. Jacob Phillips scored on an error, and Kenny Arends had an RBI single to make the score 4-2. Garretson, however, then had their 11-run inning for a 15-2 score. They added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Arends finished with a single and an RBI. Liam Carpenter and Archer Thomsen each had a single in the game.
