The West Central Trojan cross country team has three seniors on this year’s team and are excellent student athletes and great leaders according to head coach Joe Caffrey. This year’s seniors are Elizabeth Johnson, Griffin Stallman, and transfer student Brie Peters.
“Individually we want the runners to work hard and improve during the season and hopefully peak at the end. We want their best performance to be at the last race of the season. We have high expectations for the team. Our varsity team goal is to have both boys and girls teams qualify for the state meet in Huron,” said Caffrey.
The first meet of the year for the Trojans will be in Beresford on Friday, August 26th.
