Trojans Roll Past Belle Fourche

The West Central Trojan football team rolled past the Belle Fourche Broncs at home on Friday, September 5th.  They scored 48 unanswered points in the first half and took the win 48-16.

Kolte Garry scored very early on a five-yard touchdown run to give West Central a 6-0 lead.  Hayden Whiting had a five-yard touchdown run with 8:33 to play in the first quarter.  The extra point was made by John Goehring for a 13-0 lead.  Whiting found the end zone again with 4:39 to play on a 13-yard run.  Carter Gross connected with Garry for a 46-yard touchdown pass with 2:20 in the opening quarter.  Goehring made both extra points, and west Central led 27-0 after the first quarter.

Gross and Garry connected again with 11:11 to go in the second quarter on a 12-yard touchdown pass.  The two would have another touchdown connection with 7:33 left in the half, this time on a two-yard pass.  Braylon Robbins had a 19-yard touchdown run 2:26 to go.  Goehring made all three extra points to make the score 48-0.

Belle Fourche scored with :45 left in the second quarter on a 23-yard touchdown run.  A two-point conversion made the score 48-8 going into halftime.  The final score came with 11:21 left in the fourth quarter.  The Broncs scored again on a one-yard touchdown run and then added a two-point conversion.
