The West Central high school club baseball team won their final regular season game of the year in Garretson on Friday, May 19th. West Central held Garretson to just two hits in a 16-0 victory.
They scored eight runs in the top of the first inning and two more in the top of the second for a 10-0 lead. West Central had a one-run top of the fourth with five more runs in the top of the fifth.
Will Nester had two hits and two RBIs. Caden Alfson, Brayden Odegaard, and Connor Siemonsma all had a single with two RBIs each. Jesse Jost added a single and one RBI. Brody Jacobson also had a hit. Andrew Zimmer pitched all five innings allowing two hits and two walks with eight strikeouts.
