The West Central Gold 14U baseball team had their 2025 season come to an end on Tuesday, July 29th in a state qualifying series. West Central was matched against Vermillion in a best two-out-of-three series. The winner of the series qualified for the South Dakota VFW 14U Alpha Division State Tournament.
The two teams were able to play both of their games on Tuesday. Vermillion qualified for the state tournament by winning both games. They won the first game 18-0 and then won the second game by a score of 15-0.
