The West Central Royal Blue 14U team split two games on Wednesday, July 9th and Friday, July 11th. They dropped the game to Flandreau on Wednesday and earned a win over Parker on Friday.

West Central held a slim 1-0 lead after the top of the first inning, but the lead was short-lived. Flandreau scored four in the bottom of the first and 10 more ini the bottom of the third for a 14-1 lead. Each team scored two runs in the fourth inning. West Central got two more runs in the top of the fifth, but the game ended on the 10-run rule.
Cooper B. had two hits and an RBI. Kane G. also had two hits. Max L. had a hit and an RBI. Luke L., Davin L., and Kayden M. all had an RBI.
West Central Royal Blue 18, Parker 7
West Central took the lead in the top of the first and scored in every inning. They got three runs in the top of the first. Parker got a run in the bottom of the first to make the score 3-1. West Central scored six in the top of the second. Each team had a five-run third inning, and West Central led 14-6 after three innings. West Central added two more runs each in the fourth and fifth innings. Parker had one run in the bottom of the fourth.
Kane G. had three hits and three RBIs. Kayden M. added a double and two RBIs. Oliver G. and Kenny A. both had a hit. Davin L., Luke L., and Archer T. all had one RBI each. Dean A. pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed five runs, all unearned, on a hit and five walks with five strikeouts. Kenny A. pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed two runs, one earned, on two hits and four walks with three strikeouts.
