The West Central Trojan girls soccer team has gone 2-1 in their last three matches. The Trojans traveled to Vermillion on Thursday, September 5th, hosted Groton on Saturday, September 7th, and then hosted Dakota Valley on Tuesday, September 9th.
West Central had a big offensive day against the Tanagers. The Trojans scored six goals in the first half and led 6-1 at halftime. West Central added four more goals in the second half for a 10-1.
On Saturday the Trojans and Tigers had a close battle. The Tigers scored a goal in the first half for a 1-0 lead at halftime. Each team got a goal in the second half giving Groton a 2-1 victory.
In their second straight home match, the Trojans got a goal in each half against the Panthers. West Central led 1-0 at halftime. The Panthers also got a goal in the second half, but the Trojans took the win 2-1.
